This scene was created on an 11 X 14 canvas. This is my very first acrylic creation. One of my favorite things to create is scenery’s. I love being outside. I get very upset in the winter when mom or dad tells me it is too cold out. In the summer time I am rarely inside.

Blustery Day $21 I used water color pencils on a 8 ½ x 11 white piece of paper. I was very excited when I got these water color pencils. I went and grabbed a piece of paper to try them out. I used fast motions when creating this piece. I took the pencils and I started creating. After I was done sketching, I used water with a brush to mix the colors together. I was trying to test and see what I was able to do with all these colors. When I was looking at it, I was about to scream because I thought it was a mess and I thought it was horrible. When I showed it to mommy, she said it looked like a very blustery day.

Valley of Storms $37 I used acrylic paints on a canvas. I was feeling really angry when I was painting this one. I kept adding more and more color until it was just what I was looking for. If you look closely you can see all the details and different greens I used to paint the pine trees. I added white to lighten the water up a bit and to give it a feel like it was moving. The red sky was how deep my anger ran.

Standing Tall $17 I used charcoal and vary colors of brown soft pastels on an 8 1/2 x 11 piece of white paper. I wanted to try using these two color combinations together. So, I decided to start with something simple. When I showed it to my mom, she said,"It's mine, leave it as it is. Don't do anything else with it." With me being an artist I always want to add more and more, sometimes it is a good thing but other times it is not. I rely on my parents to help me judge what pieces could be added onto or what should be left alone.

Out In Nature $17 I used charcoal on an 8 1/2 x 11 piece of white paper. I was watching videos on YouTube. I wanted to find out how they could make the water look like it is actually moving. Once I had the technique in my head, I wanted to try out this idea. If you look closely I feel you could see that watery moving every so slightly.
